Soup Making Tips -
Broccoli
Broccoli is in the same family as cauliflower, kale, cabbage, Brussel sprouts and collard greens. Over the years it has been combined with some of these vegetables to produce unique and flavorful results. For instance, broccoflower combines broccoli and cauliflower to create a sweeter cauliflower that is bright green in color. Broccolini mixes broccoli with Chinese kale and results in a vegetable that looks similar to asparagus with broccoli florets at the tip.
