Soup Making Tips -
Potassium in Potatoes
Potatoes contain a high concentration of potassium. Potassium is effective in reducing the risk of high blood pressure and stroke. It is also helpful in the treatment or prevention
of diabetes, cataracts, hepatitis and osteoporosis. One serving of potatoes contains more potassium than a medium banana, a food often consumed to increase low potassium levels.
