4 cups Water
3 cups Low-Fat, Low-Sodium Chicken Broth
2 cups Chopped Tomatoes
1/2 Celery Stalk, chopped
4 Green Onion, chopped
1 Potato, peeled, diced
1 Bay Leaf
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Thyme
1/4 teaspoon Caraway Seeds
3 cups Cabbage, shredded
1 cup Cooked Chicken, chopped
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
2 teaspoons Granulated Sugar
Preparation:
1. Combine the first 10 ingredients in a large soup pot.
2. Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
3. Add the cabbage, chicken, lemon juice, and sugar and stir well to blend.
4. Heat through, remove the bay leaf and serve.
