Saucy Cabbage Soup

 

Ingredients -

1 pound Lean Ground Beef
1 small head Cabbage, chopped
2 (15 ounces each) cans Jalapeno Pinto Beans, liquid reserved
1 (15 ounces) can Tomato Sauce
1 (15 ounces) can Mexican Stewed Tomatoes
1 (14 ounces) can Beef Broth
2 teaspoons Ground Cumin

 
Preparation:

1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.

2. Drain and transfer to a large 5 quart slow cooker.

3. Add the beans, cabbage, tomato sauce, tomatoes, beef broth, cumin and 1 cup of water.

4. Mix well to combine.

5. Cover and cook for 5 to 6 hours on low or until the cabbage is tender and delicious.
