1. Cook the bacon and sausage on a grill, until just crispy.
2. Add the onions and olive oil to a large soup pot and cook until translucent.
3. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, which takes about 2 minutes.
4. Add the next 5 ingredients and stir until the bouillon dissolves.
5. Add the cayenne, sugar and pepper and stir well.
6. Add the fresh herbs and allow to steep for 3 to 4 minutes.
7. Serve and enjoy.
